Materials for your Roller Session
  • 36" Long Medium or Soft Density Roller*
  • Yoga Mat
  • Pillow
*Need a foam roller??  I recommend OPTP Brand therapeutic grade rollers with a matte finish, which grip the tissue nicely.
(Note: Orders can take a week!)

  •  6”x36” OPTP Medium/Standard  density roller --feels fairly firm, and has good grip, will break in over time
  •  4”x36" OPTP Medium OR  Soft  density roller -- smaller 4" diameter, softer while still more solid.  great for legs.
  •  6”x36”OPTP  Soft Density roller -- plush & squishy soft roller if you are sensitive and want a gentle ride
  • can be ordered direct from OPTP or Amazon.
  • they are all great and can have different effects on the body. I have them all and use them for different purposes
  • if you have a firm black roller, I recommend considering a softer one

NOTE:  If you haven't received your roller in time for the first class, we can use 2 - 3 rolled towels or a yoga mat in the shape of a 3 foot long roller.  You'll want to secure the towels or yoga mat  with 3 or 4 rubber bands so they hold their shape. (Go to  below video @ 5:30 to see how to make your temporary roller.)

Still not sure? Watch this video where I talk through the different rollers and how to make the best choice for you:
